Former Zenit footballer Alexei Igonin believes that the lack of European cups does not allow an objective assessment of the performance of the St. Petersburg team this season.

In recent years, we have been a catching up country in terms of the development of football. This does not allow us to oppose ourselves to someone in individual matches.
