Mostovoy was surprised by the reaction of the ex-players of Spartak to his words
Former Spartak football player Alexander Mostovoy spoke about the reaction to his words of the ex-players of the Moscow club who played for the Red-Whites in the 90s of the last century.
Earlier, in a conversation with Match TV, Mostovoy spoke ambiguously about the titles of Spartak in the 1990s. According to him, “then it was completely different – the country fell apart, there was no football, nothing. Spartak just gathered all the best players and played with their eyes closed.” These words were criticized by the ex-players of the “red-white”.
– Spartak players of the 90s were offended by my statement? Why be offended by the truth? – quotes the words of Mostovoy “Championship”.
In the period from 1996 to 2001, Spartak became the champion of the country. Thus, the “red-whites” won the national championship six times in a row.
