Sutormin’s agent admitted that the player is dissatisfied with the lack of playing practice at Zenit
The agent of Zenit midfielder Alexei Sutormin, Alexander Klyuev, did not answer the question about Rostov’s interest in his client, admitting that the football player does not feel satisfaction without having a full match practice.
In the last nine matches of the MIR RPL, Sutormin played 14 minutes. In the last two matches of the FONBET Cup of Russia, he did not appear on the field.
– Is there any interest in Alexei from Rostov?
– Is there any interest from other clubs?
– It’s definitely not commentary.
– Was there a conversation with Sergei Semak or the club’s management about the situation with Alexei’s playing time at Zenit?
– Not yet.
– How likely is Alexei to leave in the winter, if the situation with playing time does not change for the better?
– Let’s see what the situation will be. There are no deadlines. Everything will be in dialogue mode. There is simply dissatisfaction with Alexei and our playing time. A national team player does not enter the field, even as a substitute. Of course, this will not suit a normal ambitious football player. Alexey is not afraid of competition and has always proved that he is competitive. Like every ambitious footballer, he is unsatisfied,” Klyuyev told Sport Day by Day.
The contract of 28-year-old Sutormin with Zenit expires on June 30, 2025. The transfer fee of the player, according to Transfermarkt, is 3 million euros.
