Two Italian clubs were interested in acquiring Dynamo Moscow footballer Arsen Zakharyan before he was offered to Chelsea, ex-sports director of Zenit and Lokomotiv Igor Korneev said.
Earlier, Korneev said that it was he who offered the Dynamo player to the London club.
So what happened to Chelsea?
– I started consulting on Zakharyan from the moment when his contract with Dynamo was ending. I had two Italian clubs, one of them was a top one, which were interested in Zakharyan, – Korneev told the Championship.
– But?
“They acted too slowly. After Arsene signed a new contract with Dynamo, I offered him to Chelsea. They began to follow him, but the transfer did not take place for known reasons.
– Remind me?
— How to make a payment? How to sell a player to a club with an owner from the USA now? Will he be allowed to pay this amount, even if he really wants to do it? Until there is a guarantee of payment or prepayment, there is no need to talk about the transfer.
