The former head coach of Spartak Moscow, Massimo Carrera, explained why he would not lead the RPL legionnaires team in the event of a match with the Russian national team.
– I would not lead the RPL legionnaires team – it has no goal. Yes, and such a team is more like a fantasy, – quotes the words of Carrera “Championship”.
The Russian national team and Russian football clubs have been suspended from participation in international competitions by the decisions of FIFA and UEFA. In the only match of 2022, the national team of Russia beat the national team of Kyrgyzstan – 2:1.
Earlier, the former goalkeeper of Zenit Vyacheslav Malafeev made a proposal to create a team of foreign players playing in the RPL in order to play with the Russian national team.
