Representatives of the organizing committee of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar confirmed that they are ready to pay part of the fans for the cost of travel and accommodation, if they then leave positive feedback about the country.

Reuters writes that a special committee has been created in Qatar, which will be responsible for such work with fans. Earlier, the Dutch television channel NOS reported that for the first group of fans from this country in the amount of 50 people, hotel rooms and air tickets have already been paid for, similar offers to their fans were reported by the French and Belgian media.

The organizers of the World Cup do not hide their intentions to “buy” positive feedback from football fans arriving in Qatar.

As the tournament approaches, we invite leaders of active supporter groups to dialogue to help bring together small organized groups as our guests. This is a kind of way to thank them for their cooperation, the said committee told Reuters.

According to Reuters, viewers arriving in this way are forced to sign a document that obliges them to leave positive comments on social networks and report negative ones, preferably attaching screenshots.

The source also claims that the official website of the 2022 World Cup reports on this program with the mention of “400 fans and influencers from 60 countries around the world” who are ready to help with coverage of the tournament in a positive way.

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 20 to December 18. TV channel “Match TV” became the exclusive owner of the tournament in Russia.
