Former Spartak coach Paolo Vanoli spoke about his relationship with the former owner of the “red-white” Leonid Fedun.
I want to thank Fedun for giving me the opportunity to lead a really important big club in Europe. And he apart he was happy and proud that he was able to give him exactly the trophy he was missing. My special thanks go to him and his family. Although we weren’t meant to work together for a long time, I believe this work continues to pay off.
Was Fedun’s wife heavily involved in club life? She was a great surprise! In general, I was lucky enough to know Leonid Fedun, the most involved in the business of Spartak. His presence always made itself felt. He helped me, he gave me the strength to continue this project. With Zarema I have already discussed the specifics, everything I wanted to understand from the point of view of the functioning of the club. Once again I want to thank them.
Was there too much Zarema with Spartak? No. Maybe you have appeared in the media often. However, in terms of organizing the process, you worked well together with Fedun. They had ideas to help Spartak climb as high as possible. And today they left a young team with a legacy. In the future, Spartak could regain the league title.
