Bozovic ran into the Russians and insulted Spalletti. Completely bored without a job?

The coach called himself a legend and accused Russia of disrespect. I wonder in what state he gave the interview.

The Montenegrin football coach Miodrag Bozovic has long been considered one of his own in Russia – a specialist nicknamed Graf has not worked with any clubs from our country. Nevertheless, in recent years, the fans’ impression of the work of the Montenegrin has remained negative. However, such a reputation of Bozovic does not suit him at all …

Miodrag called himself a “legend of Russian football” and at the same time went through his colleagues in the most cruel way!

In what state did Bozovic give the interview?

“I’m a legend”

Bozovic’s coaching career in the Russian championship really cannot be called bad, at least in general. For 14 years, the Montenegrin managed to work with Amkar (twice), Moscow, Dynamo, Rostov, Lokomotiv, Wings of the Soviets and Tula Arsenal (twice). And frankly, by and large, he failed only with Dynamo. Miodrag led Amkar to fourth place in the league, led Perm and Lokomotiv to the Russian Cup final, and won it with Rostov.

Along the way, Bozovic successfully flew to Serbia, making the Belgrade “Red Star” the champion of the country. Yes, there were enough unsatisfactory results, especially with Wings. However, this does not detract from the merits of Miodrag – he is the only coach in the history of Russia who led his team to the final of the Cup of the country for two years in a row.

The last job of the Montenegrin in Russia was Arsenal. His return to this club three years later was not marked by success, although before that, under the leadership of Bozovic, Tula stopped a step away from getting into European competition.

As a result, it is unlikely that anyone would turn their tongues to call Miodrag a bad specialist – the Montenegrin alternated successful results with unsatisfactory ones, but high performance with middle peasants and outsiders speaks in his favor. In an interview with RB Sport, Bozovic decided to remind the doubting Russian fans of his merits, but in a very colorful and, to put it mildly, ambiguous form:

“You Russians love the Germans. Now listen to me: I am Montenegrin, Serb, almost Russian. You love the Germans very much, and I always wish the best for your country.

When I headed Lokomotiv, the team was first in 12th place, and then with me it reached the second. I led the team to the Russian Cup final. I am a Montenegrin, but you don’t give a damn about it, you Russians are rooting for the Germans, who made a complete mess at Lokomotiv – destroyed the team. And you are still silent? I love Russia! These Germans *** you (deceived – approx.). And you are silent after that. I did a lot of work in RussiaBozovic said.

It’s hard to disagree with Graf’s view, but the Montenegrin specialist did not stop there and unexpectedly attacked his colleagues:

– When I reached the final of the Russian Cup with Amkar, this mustachioed coach Gazzaev, together with Giner, stole the Cup from me, stole it! I finished fourth in the championship! You run after those Germans and Italians all the time. I beat this bald *** (condom. – approx.) Spalletti with Rostov and with other teams.

Remember: I am a legend of Russian football. But everyone killed me in Russia because I am a Serb, a small figure. And you keep calling Italians, Germans – they are all *** (condoms. – approx.). Do you know who supports Russia now? I brother! Serbs and Montenegrins for Russia! And these *** (condoms. – approx.) Italians and Germans – none, for no one! They are nobody. I did an excellent job in Russia, and they call me a physical education teacher – what the **** (nonsense – approx.)? added the coach.

After such a devastating presentation of thoughts from Bozovic, the question arises, in what state is the 54-year-old specialist, currently out of work, giving an interview? Miodrag urgently needs a new club. Free time, apparently, is contraindicated for him.

The former president of the Ukrainian Football Federation is wanted in Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has placed the former president of the Ukrainian Football Federation (UAF) on the wanted list. Andrei Pavelko. This comes from Ukrainian data Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the database, Pavelko is accused of two criminal articles: embezzlement, misappropriation of property or misappropriation of property through abuse of office, committed on a large scale or by an organized group, as well as official forgery.

On October 9, it became known that the former UAF president had been indicted on new charges. As clarified by the Strana publication, the investigation believes that Pavelko and a group of other Ukrainian football officials took possession of 9.32 million euros, which UAF received from the Union of European Football Associations (of UEFA) in 2015-2016.

Pavelko had previously been accused of carrying out bribery schemes during the construction of a plant to produce artificial turf for football pitches. In this case, the president of the association was arrested in November 2022, but managed to get bail. In June 2023 he was arrested again; only in February 2024 did he win the appeal and was released. In the same year, according to Ukrainian AveragePavelko traveled abroad, submitting a certificate of disability. Then “Strana” associated the persecution of Pavelko with the fact that Vladimir Zelensky was pressuring him to force him to hand over the position of president of the association to Ukrainian footballer Andrei Shevchenko, who eventually led the UAF in January 2024.

The RFU does not rule out Karpin merging the posts again

Russian Football Federation (RFU) does not rule out an agreement with the coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin reconciling work in the national team and the club. The Secretary General spoke about it in an interview RFU Maxim Mitrofanov.

In November Karpin announced his departure from Dinamo Moscow; he had been working at the club since June. Later, in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel, he ruled out a future combination.

“Never say ‘never’, everything happens in life,” Mitrofanov said in response to the question of whether he agreed RFU once again combining Karpin. — Basic RFU against the combination of the work of the national team and club coaches. But during the period of exclusion from official competitions this combination is in some cases possible; several coaches, even at the helm of the national teams, combine their work with that of the club”.

“If we talk about the normal competitive period in which the federation and its team should exist, the combination is impossible, the coach and his staff must be completely focused on the team and solving the assigned tasks. We do not know whether Valery Georgievich will ever contact us again with the question of the combination. I don’t think he knows it either. But it seems to me that he himself has drawn important conclusions and expressed them. The combination places a greater burden on the football team. There, too, they must correctly evaluate their capabilities. When a coach is in the national team, objectively he cannot deal with club matters,” Mitrofanov added.

Previously, Karpin also combined work in the national team and Rostov, but left the club in February this year.
