Nkunku blew up a red balloon after scoring against Shakhtar
Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku celebrated a goal in an original way in the Champions League group stage 6 match against Shakhtar Donetsk (4:0) in Warsaw.
The 24-year-old Frenchman scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute. After that, he took out a red balloon from his gaiter and blew it up. Nkunku then went to pose for the cameras with a ball in his mouth, his head up.
According to talkSPORT, the action is a reference to the horror movie It, which features a clown and a red balloon, even though Halloween has just passed.
The victory in the match with Shakhtar brought Leipzig to the playoffs of the Champions League. The team finished second in Group F with 12 points.
