One of the favorites of the World Cup lost a star striker

The German national football team, which many experts consider one of the favorites for the World Cup in Qatar, has lost striker Timo Werner.
The press service of the German “Leipzig”, which supports the 26-year-old Werner, on Thursday announced the injury of the striker. The ex-Chelsea player injured his ankle and was out before the end of the year.
Werner has made 16 appearances for his club this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held in November-December 2022. The German national team will play in Group E with the teams of Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
