Monaco beat Red Star Belgrade in the match of the 6th round of the Europa League group stage.
The meeting in Monaco ended with the score 4:1. The hat-trick of the winners was designed by Kevin Folland. Crvena Zvezda’s Milan Rodic cut the ball into his own net after a cross from Monaco’s Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin. The ex-player of CSKA Moscow spent 85 minutes on the field.
In another Group H match, Turkish Trabzonspor defeated Hungarian Ferencváros 1-0 at home.
Ferencvaros, coached by Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov, took first place in the group (10 points), Monaco came second (10), Trabzonspor – third (9), Red Star – fourth (6).
