The head coach of Ferencváros, Stanislav Cherchesov, said that he was calm about the statements that he was considered the best Russian coach. His words are quoted by Match TV.

The specialist stressed that all the achievements of his teams should be shared by the entire coaching staff.

On Thursday, Ferencváros advanced from the first place in the group to the playoffs of the Europa League.

“I treat you with respect. But today I am the best for you, and tomorrow – not the best. So I take it easy. We work with the entire coaching staff, and not only the Russian team, but also the Hungarian team – those who have already been here before us. All these achievements should be divided equally. By and large, coaches make titles. This is not the first exit from the group in our career, so it means nothing to us by and large.

– Are you going to the World Cup?

— Experience suggests that it is better to participate there. As a coach, I can’t participate, so I’ll look at home. We have a busy schedule, I want to move away from football a bit.
