Zenit lost to Akhmat, having suffered their first defeat in the RPL season

Petersburg “Zenith” lost to Grozny “Akhmat” in the match of the 16th round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The game in St. Petersburg ended with the score 2:1. Evgeny Kharin and Mohamed Konate scored goals for the Grozny team, Andrey Mostovoy scored for the hosts.
Zenit suffered its first defeat in the current season of the Russian Championship, and for the first time since October 2021 lost at home in the RPL. For Akhmat, this is the first away victory over the Blue-White-Blues since May 2017.
The team of Sergei Semak with 39 points leads the RPL standings, Akhmat (26) is in fifth place.
