Sochi midfielder Artur Yusupov called controversial the episode with Spartak forward Alexander Sobolev in the match of the 16th round of the WORLD RPL.
The meeting took place on November 5 in Sochi and ended with the score 1:1. At the 23rd minute, Sobolev hit Yusupov in the head with his elbow. The chief referee did not apply disciplinary sanctions to the Red-White player, who already had a yellow card.
– We did not give Spartak much time, we were always on our feet, so it was hard for them to play.
Refereeing? In general, I have no questions about the match with Spartak. The second yellow Sobolev? Only for this moment. A controversial episode, but the judge decided so, – Sport24 quotes Yusupov.
Spartak (33 points) is in second place in the WORLD RPL standings, Sochi (22) is ninth.
