Sochi defender Ivan Miladinovich told RB Sport that he received a Russian passport in the spring, but noted that he did not think about playing for the Russian national team.
– I received my passport in the spring.
“But you are still considered a legionnaire.
— So far, yes. But now there are no problems with the number of legionnaires.
– Considering that you received a Russian passport, does it mean that you would like to stay in Russia further?
– Oh sure.
– Have you thought about the future after the expiration of the contract?
I have a contract for another year and a half. So for now, I’m focused on playing for the club. I didn’t think about the future.
– Would you like to play for the Russian national team?
“I don’t even think about it.
– Why?
– I missed too much due to injury and other unpleasant situations. So now I just want to play as much as possible, – quotes the words of Miladinovic “RB Sport”.
This season, 28-year-old Miladinovic has played in six matches for Sochi in all tournaments in which he did not score.
