Brazilian striker Ari admitted that after leaving Krasnodar he could stay in the MIR RPL.
Ari left Krasnodar in the summer of 2021, now he is the playing president of the Brazilian Atlético Cearense.
– Your last match in the RPL was in the spring of 2021. At the same time, you admitted that you would like to return to our championship. Were there any options for these one and a half years?
– Now there are no specific proposals, but after my last match in Russia there were many. Krasnodar wanted to extend me, but at the last moment everything fell apart. They called Khimki – they did not agree on the salary.
It’s been a year and a half and clubs may question my physical condition as I am 36 years old and have had several surgeries. But I am in great shape, I am preparing for the matches of the Brazilian Serie C and I will show that I am capable of much, – said Ari Sport24.
In Russia, the forward played for Spartak, Lokomotiv and Krasnodar. For Krasnodar, Ari played 172 games and scored 54 goals, for Spartak – 110 matches and 29 goals, for Lokomotiv he entered the field 23 times, scoring 7 goals.
