Orenburg coach Lichka wants Russian clubs to return to European competition in 2023
Orenburg head coach Marcel Lichka found it difficult to answer the question of when to wait for the return of Russian clubs to European tournaments.
– A difficult question is when Russian clubs will play in European competition again. Of course, I would like all this to end and a normal life to go. My desire is the return of Russian clubs to European competition next year. But no one knows what the future holds for us,” Lichka told RB Sport.
Earlier, FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian teams and clubs from participating in international tournaments until further notice.
Orenburg is in 8th place in the RPL WORLD after 16 rounds. He has 22 points.
