Montenegrin coach Zeljko Petrovich believes that striker Artem Dziuba needs to find a team that will play in the right style.
Earlier it became known that Dzyuba and the Turkish club “Adana Demirspor” terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties. The Russian in the status of a free agent has already left Turkey. According to Match TV, several Russian and Turkish clubs are applying for the 34-year-old striker. The media are actively wooing Dziuba, including in Torpedo.
– Legionnaires always need time. Perhaps the attackers adapt faster than others because they are regularly in the final third of the field and can score at any moment. But more is expected of them. The case with Dzyuba is not the first when a football player signs a contract and after a couple of months they are dissatisfied with him. He probably hoped to stay in Turkey for a couple of years, there is a strong championship, but what can you do now. Now Artem can go to another country, although it is not so easy for Russian footballers now.
Perhaps he will return to Russia, so it will be much easier for him. But I definitely don’t think that Dzyuba ended as a football player. He is physically very strong, he looks sharp in the box, but he needs a team that plays in the right style. If you expect him to do action on the field and distribute passes left and right, then you are mistaken, this is a different type of player. Dziuba – tip, finisher of attacks, acting in the penalty area. He needs wingers who throw dozens of innings. If the coach is counting on counterattacks, then Artem is definitely not suitable for this, he has no speed. And many Turkish clubs often play just on the counterattacks, – RB Sport quotes Petrovich as saying.
