Sochi General Director Dmitry Rubashko said that Alexander Kerzhakov is not considered for the post of head coach of the football club.

Commentator “Match TV” Konstantin Genich on the air “Comment.Show” on YouTube said that a 39-year-old specialist can lead the Sochi team. Earlier, the media reported that head coach Vadim Garanin was fired, but the owner of Sochi residents Boris Rotenberg and Rubashko denied this information in a conversation with Match TV.

“To be honest, I don’t even know why it happens that others know more than we do,” Rubashko quotes Match TV.

“Of course, I will deny it. I just don’t understand why he makes such statements? In my opinion, there is a head coach, the entire staff is in place. I don’t understand where it comes from.

Last season, Kerzhakov served as head coach at PARI NN Nizhny Novgorod.
