Bayern Senegalese striker Sadio Mane will not take part in the World Cup in Qatar due to a leg injury, according to L’Equipe.
Mane was injured on Tuesday in the match of the 14th round of the German championship with Werder Bremen (6:1), he left the field in the 20th minute. According to the publication, the recovery of the 30-year-old player will take several weeks, Mane will not be included in the final composition of the Senegal national team for the tournament.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 20 to December 18. Senegal will play in Group A against Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands.
