German fifth league club Eintracht from Bamberg will not be able to play matches at their home stadium until the end of the year for an unusual reason.

The Bild publication writes that the Fuchs Park arena, where the team performs, held a Quidditch tournament the day before, a sports game invented by JK Rowling for a series of her works about Harry Potter. In an adapted version for fans of the franchise, the game is a mixture of some other ball sports – rugby, handball and dodgeball.

After Quidditch, the lawn was unsuitable for playing football. November 5 “Eintracht” in the status of the leader of the Oberliga – Northern Bavaria was supposed to take “Würzburg”, but the game was postponed. As a result, the team missed ahead in the Gebenbach table.

It is noted that the club from Bamberg will be able to play home matches on the field of proper quality only in the spring.
