Grishin called it a surprise that Ondua was included in the final composition of the Cameroon national team for the 2022 World Cup

Alexander Grishin, assistant coach of the CSKA Moscow Academy teams, admitted that he did not expect to see the ex-midfielder of the youth team of the army club Gael Ondua in the final application of the Cameroon national team for the 2022 World Cup.
“Of course, I’m happy for Gael. In fact, for me, the inclusion of Gael in the final application of the Cameroon team for the World Cup came as a surprise. After CSKA, he disappeared, by and large he did not play for any superclubs. When I saw the application of the Cameroon national team and saw Ondua there, I was glad. If he was called, then he deserves it, – quotes the words of Grishin “Championship”.
Ondua has been playing for German side Hannover since the summer of 2021.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 20 to December 18. Cameroon will play in Group G with Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland.
