Dynamo tore apart CSKA on counterattacks. Even Akinfeev did not save the army! Video
The Moscow teams played a powerful derby before the winter break.
One of the central matches of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League between Dynamo and CSKA closed the championship before the winter break. After the defeats in the last round, both teams obviously wanted to please their fans before the break.
And the derby of the “brotherly” clubs really turned out to be bright. Two removals, a lot of emotions and tension until the very final whistle!
After such a game, I don’t want a break in the RPL at all …
Understood in a businesslike way
In the first 15 minutes, the advantage in the Moscow derby was completely taken over by the army team, over and over again getting to someone else’s penalty area with sharpening passes and throws at Fedor Chalov. “White-blue” only once snapped at some semblance of a dangerous moment.
By the middle of the first half, the game leveled off, the Dynamo began to attack more often and defend better, which caused more struggle on the field. The first truly dangerous attack and kick happened only in the 38th minute – in the Dynamo penalty area, Jorge Carrascal hit the target from a good position, but Anton Shunin coped with the blow.
By the end of the first half, the army team began to take advantage again, but in the 40th minute the hosts figured it out in a businesslike way: Daniil Fomin cut off two CSKA players with a great pass and brought Dmitry Skopintsev in the army penalty area to an ideal position for a strike. The White-and-Blues defender did not miss, hitting the far top corner of Igor Akinfeev.

The army team immediately rushed to win back, but Dynamo again caught the enemy. After a quick rally, the “white-and-blue” got to someone else’s penalty area, where the ball was received by Fedor Smolov and, without hesitation, he scored … but from offside. And after a few seconds, Shunin again saved his team, repelling Chalov’s blow from a lethal position. As a result, CSKA looked better in the first half, but it was the hosts who ideally took advantage of their moment.
Two removals and saving Akinfeev
In the second half, the game continued on a collision course. In the 54th minute, the hosts got close to someone else’s penalty area and brought Fomin to a good position. The midfielder could double Dynamo’s advantage, but missed the goal. After 6 minutes, the army team could have scored, but after Yegor Ushakov’s billiard strike, the ball passed near the post.
A couple of minutes later, the Dynamo again surprised by surprise: after a short combination, Das found Mumi Ngumale in the penalty area, who hit the far bottom corner of the opponent’s goal in a jump with his head.

However, this time CSKA’s return attack was effective. Ivan Oblyakov took the ball with his chest on the border of the opponent’s penalty area and opened the opponent’s goal with a powerful blow.

After a lightning-fast return goal, CSKA players were inspired, but all the team’s attacks ended in nothing. In the 77th minute, the hosts could once again surprise the opponent, but Skopintsev hit the post.
But immediately after an offensive miss, Konstantin Tyukavin, who appeared on the field, earned a penalty – for a foul he received a second yellow card and was removed from the field by Oblyakov. However, the Dynamo players failed to realize the 11-meter goal – Akinfeev pulled a good shot from Fomin into the right corner of the goal.
A minute later, Dynamo also remained in the minority – Yaroslav Gladyshev, who appeared in the second half, received two yellow cards in a short period of time for stupid and unnecessary violations of the rules. Until the end of the match, the teams exchanged several dangerous moments, but the hosts managed to keep the winning score. For the winter break, Dynamo is leaving in high spirits, while CSKA, after two defeats in a row, is clearly going to have a debriefing.
