Anton SmirnovaBayer’s goalkeeper attorney Andrei Lunevhe recounted his client’s plans.
The position of Bayer’s management is simple: they don’t want to let Lunev go until the end of the contract, because there is no equivalent replacement. Andrei adapts in every sense to the club, but in the state in which he is now. It is practically impossible to compete with Hradecki, there is no reason to change him – that was also said. But we already understand that. To let Andrei go, you need to find a replacement, which is unrealistic to do in winter. An extension of the contract is also unlikely – if we ourselves start talking about leaving in the winter, what’s the point. But if Andrei does not find any options or wants to stay, then in March-April we can return to this issue.
