Miladinovic’s injury was not serious, the player should return to action this year

Football agent Anton Sinkov said that Ivan Miladinovic’s injury was not too serious: it is expected that the defender will be able to play this year.

On Sunday, during the match of the 17th round of the WORLD RPL with Khimki, Sochi defender Miladinovic left the field on a stretcher in the first half. Forward of the Moscow Region club Alexander Rudenko made a tackle at the feet of the Serb, he landed unsuccessfully on his back. First, the football player got up and tried to reach the edge of the field, leaning on an employee of the medical staff. However, he was unable to do so, and the defender had to leave the field on a stretcher.

– Everything seems to be fine, we got off with a slight fright. Yesterday, immediately during the match, his wife called me, she called from Serbia, she was worried after last year’s injury. Ivan has stayed in Moscow for now, he will have an MRI. Pain in the back remains, but I hope that by the cup matches he should already be in the general group, RB Sport quotes Sinkov.

Sochi will play two more matches in the Fonbet Cup of Russia in November – on November 22 in Moscow against Torpedo and on November 26 at home with CSKA.
