The former head coach of Lokomotiv and the Russian national team, Yuri Semin, commented on the information about the interest of Everton and Frank Lampard personally in Russian goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin.
Khaikin has been playing for Boude-Glimt since 2019, his contract with the Norwegian club expires at the end of the year. Earlier in November, the 27-year-old announced that he would not renew the deal. On Monday, Sport24, citing a source, said that Khaykin could become a player in the English Everton.
– Not surprised by Everton’s interest in Nikita Khaikin. Throughout this period, Nikita has been playing at a high level, in many international matches he has shown a high class and played very well throughout this time at Boude-Glimt. At the same time, he won two golds and two silvers in four years – this is a high result. I think that Khaykin is able to play at the level of the Premier League, – quotes the words of Semin “RB Sport”.
Earlier, the media reported that clubs from Poland, Germany and the English Championship are showing interest in the Russian goalkeeper.
