The Italian edition of Corriere della Sera conducted a study and found that for the first time in the history of the world championships, two players who moved to their countries as refugees will take part in the tournament at the same time.
We are talking about Hail Mabile from Australia and Alfonso Davis from Canada.
The Mabila family moved to Australia from Kenya as refugees when the future footballer was 10 years old. Davis’ parents moved to Canada from a refugee camp in Ghana when Alfonso was 5 years old.
