Ex-defender of “Zenith” Krishito announced his retirement

Former defender of Zenit and the Italian national team Domenico Criscito announced his retirement, according to the press service of Toronto.
The last club in the career of the 35-year-old Italian was Canadian Toronto, with whom he signed a contract in June 2022. The MLS club finished the current season in 13th place in the Eastern Conference, gaining 34 points in 34 games.
Criscito has played for Genoa for the last four seasons (2019-2022), where he has made 109 appearances and scored 20 goals. For seven years, Krishito played for the Russian Zenit: 224 games and 20 goals in all tournaments. In “Zenith” Krishito twice became the champion of Russia, the owner of the Cup and the Super Cup of the country.
Criscito began his professional career at Genoa where he made his Serie B debut in June 2003. The footballer first played for the Italian national team in a friendly match against Switzerland on August 12, 2009. He made 26 appearances for the national team.
