Former England striker Gary Lineker has said he expects Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Manchester United in the near future following his controversial interview.
In an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, the Portuguese footballer was highly critical of the club at various levels, as well as former teammates and pundits.
“I don’t think Ronaldo will stay at Old Trafford. In his interview, he buried almost everyone in the club: players, staff, coaches, board of directors. Incredible! Lineker wrote on social media.
The upcoming departure of Ronaldo from Manchester United is indirectly confirmed by the fact that the image of the Portuguese striker has already been removed from the facade of the home stadium.
