Midfielder Sergei Pinyaev became the youngest debutant in the history of the Russian national team, the press service of the national team reports.
Pinyaev, who is 18 years and 15 days old, started on Thursday for a friendly match against Tajikistan.
The football player of the Samara Krylya Sovetov broke the record of goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, who made his debut for the national team at the age of 18 years and 20 days.
