Belgian assistant coach Thomas Vermaelen caught a violator who ran onto the field during the training of the national team before the World Cup in Qatar, according to Sporza.
The Belgians are gathering in Kuwait. A local fan, dressed in the Red Devils’ number seven jersey, broke into the field during practice. At first, the man managed to dodge the players who tried to stop him, but he did not manage to get away from Vermaelen. The former national team defender neutralized a fan who, as it turned out, wanted to see his idol Kevin de Bruyne near.
The Belgian national team at the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar will play with the teams of Canada (November 23), Morocco (November 27) and Croatia (December 1).
