Igor Cherevchenko said that he had a dialogue about returning to Lokomotiv
The former head coach of Lokomotiv, Igor Cherevchenko, said that they had a dialogue with him about a possible return to the capital club.
Cherevchenko left Lokomotiv in the summer of 2016. In 2015, under his leadership, the team won the Russian Cup.
— What about your career?
“As soon as the winter break begins, everything will become clear. There are some talks, I’ll fly to Moscow on the 20th and I’ll talk, ”RB Sport” quotes Cherevchenko.
– Are there any proposals from MIR RPL?
– Were. Refused. I thought that it would be better to accept the team in the winter in order to pass the winter training camp and properly prepare the team.
Was it the Torch?
– I won’t talk.
– Who surprises you in the RPL?
– Spartak – on the good side, and Lokomotiv – on the bad side.
Is the failure of the railroad workers a tragedy?
– Not. Why make a tragedy out of it? We’ll fix everything. I won’t blame anyone, let the management figure it out.
– Could you still lead Lokomotiv in recent months?
– There was no concrete proposal. They had a dialogue with me about a possible appointment to the post of head coach.
