Former Spartak midfielder Denis Boyarintsev shared his expectations for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

– For the first time in my life, I have a cold attitude towards the World Cup. There are no expectations. Plus, our team does not play there. If possible, of course, I will watch matches. It’s always interesting to look at the different ideas that coaches come up with – it’s an opportunity to learn something for yourself. Will I worry about someone? You know, I will just watch matches for my own horizons, as a teaching aid for coaching. Who is the favorite for this World Cup? For some reason, everyone says that the Argentina national team is the favorite of the tournament. It seems to me that the European team will win this year, ”Championship” quotes Boyarintsev as saying.

The World Cup in Qatar is scheduled from November 20 to December 18.
