Netherlands striker Cody Gakpo gave his team the lead in the group stage match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar against Senegal.
Gakpo scored in the 84th minute. After Frenkie de Jong’s cross, he headed the ball into the goal, ahead of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who was trying to intercept the cross.
Group A meets at the El Tumama Stadium in Doha. The score became 1:0 in favor of the Netherlands.
