Petrescu received no offers from Russia, his agent said

Football agent Nikolai Pyrneu, representing the interests of the Romanian Cluj coach Dan Petrescu, said that the arrival of a specialist in the Russian club is almost unrealistic at the moment.
– Dan is doing well, he is watching the World Cup. To date, no one has contacted him from Russia, there have been no conversations at all, nothing at all. Although Dan has repeatedly stated that he would like to return to Russia. As for the continuation of a career, it is not yet clear. Now Petrescu is the head coach of Cluj, with him the team won three championships in a row, RB Sport quoted Pyrneu as saying.
– Isn’t it surprising that there is no interest from Russia?
Nothing surprises me anymore. There were offers from Turkey, but Dan simply does not want to go to this championship.
Petrescu, 54, previously coached Dynamo Moscow and managed Kuban twice.
