Two goals in stoppage time gave the Iranian national football team a victory over the Wales team in the second round match of the 2022 World Cup group stage in Qatar.
Group B met on Friday at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan and ended 2-0.
In the 86th minute, the Wales team was left with ten men after the removal of goalkeeper Wayne Hennessy. In the eighth minute of stoppage time, Roozbe Cheshmi put the Iranians ahead, and four minutes later Ramin Rezaeyan set the final score in the match.
