Former Spartak Moscow football player Alexei Rebko said that after defeating Costa Rica in the first round of the World Cup in Qatar, one cannot understand the level of the Spanish team.

On November 23, the Spanish national team defeated Costa Rica 7-0 in the first round match of the 2022 World Cup. The Spaniards will play the second game in the tournament on November 27 with the German team.

— Of course, the eyes of the fans are riveted to the top teams. Personally, I was surprised by Argentina and Germany, who lost their matches. I will note Brazil and France – these teams performed quite powerfully. As for the Spaniards, I have not yet been able to understand at what level they are, since Costa Rica did not put up the proper resistance.
