Lepekhin: “The main thing is that there should be no biased attitude of the judges”

Former footballer of “Zenith” Konstantin Lepechin shared his opinion on the large amount of injury time at the World Cup in Qatar.

The main thing is that there should be no biased attitude of the judges. At first we were surprised that they added 9-10 minutes but now we got used to it quickly. However, it would be more correct if this was planned in advance – for example, 1 substitution – automatically 1 minute of injury time, a doctor entering the field, a goal scored – would also automatically add an amount, it would be clearer. Just include it in the rules.

Should we introduce “net play time”? For television, there will be problems at first, but hockey or basketball is shown somehow. It remains difficult to understand how long the match will last in these conditions. It’s hard to talk about it right now.
