Kurban Berdyev was introduced to the Sochi players as the new head coach of the team, the Championship reports, citing a source familiar with the situation.
As noted, in the near future, the appointment of a 70-year-old specialist will be officially announced. On Thursday, the former coach of “Rubin” and “Rostov” Berdyev appealed to the leadership of the Iranian “Tractor” with a request to terminate the contract with him in order to return to Russia.
Earlier, the media reported that Vadim Garanin left the post of head coach of Sochi.
Sochi is ninth in the WORLD RPL standings with 25 points in 17 matches. On Saturday, the Sochi club will play at home with CSKA in the group stage match of the FONBET Cup of Russia.
