Pereira broke three ribs in Portugal training and could miss the rest of the 2022 World Cup

Portugal’s Danilo Pereira has been injured in training and is at risk of missing the remaining World Cup matches in Qatar.
According to the website of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), Pereira broke three of his right ribs in training on Saturday. The medical staff of Portugal declared the midfielder unavailable for work in the general group.
According to the Portuguese media, Pereira will miss the remaining matches of the group stage of the tournament in Qatar. It is possible that the player will no longer play in the World Cup.
On Monday, the Portuguese national team will play the second round match with the team of Uruguay.
