Kudus double helped Ghana beat South Korea in the 2022 World Cup group stage match

The Ghana national football team defeated the team of South Korea in the group stage match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Group H meeting, which took place at the Eduction City Stadium in R Rayyan, ended with a 3-2 victory for the Black Stars.

After the first half, the Ghanaians were leading 2-0 after goals from Karim Mohamed Salisu (24th minute) and Mohammed Kudus (34). In the second half, the Koreans were able to bounce back thanks to goals from striker Cho Kyu-son in the 58th and 61st minutes. Soon Kudus distinguished himself again and brought victory to the Ghanaians.

The Ghana national team won the World Cup match for the first time since 2010. Then at the tournament in South Africa at the stage of 1/8 finals in extra time the US team was beaten (2:1).
