21-year-old England international Bukayo Saka commented on the comparisons with the French striker Kylian Mbappe, and also shared his expectations from the upcoming Round of 16 match world Cup-2022.

Am I the next Mbappé? Thanks for the compliment, but no. There is only one Kylian Mbappe. At the same time, there is only one me. I want to be myself and help the team as best I can.

For me Mbappe is one of the best players in the world. Of course, we know what qualities he has, as a team we have to prepare ourselves adequately to try to stop him. France have many other quality players, we have to be ready for anything.

Now I’m just happy that we’re here, that we’re doing well. The priority is to win the tournament, not to be the best player or youngest player in the tournament.

Spanish Girona have rented a 20-year-old midfielder from English Manchester City Claudio Echeverri. The agreement is valid until the end of the season.

Head coach of Krasnodar Murad Musaev shared the team’s plans for winter training:

The work ahead is hard. Six games are scheduled during the training camp (from 14 to 28 January). The training program doesn’t change much. Everyone knows more or less what we will do.

Ideally I would like to play against foreign teams, but so far one opponent is from Kazakhstan, the rest from Russia. Strong opponents, but I would like some variety.
