Defender of the Croatian national team Dejan Lovren spoke of the dialogue with the goalkeeper Dominik Livakovich before the penalty shoot-out against the Japan national team, where the goalkeeper blocked three penalties.
I told him before the penalty: “Just believe in yourself.” Actually, yesterday we coached a penalty and he took everything! We even said to each other: “God, how badly we hit.”
So I said to our goalkeeper after that training: ‘Just show everything in the game’. I am very happy for him.
