The former president of Lokomotiv, Olga Smorodskaya, believes that the Russian Football Union (RFU) should not raise the issue of moving to the Asian Confederation.
RFU President Alexander Dyukov said on November 27 that the issue of transferring to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) would be considered at the next meeting of the executive committee.
– Asian teams performed great at the group stage of the World Cup! Nobody expected anything from them: neither from South Korea, nor from Japan. But I think that the RFU should not raise the issue of moving to the Asian Confederation. We must be patient and wait. Wait five or ten years? I do not think that ten years will have to wait. I think less. We hope for the best, – quotes the words of Smorodskaya “Championship”.
