The former striker of Rubin and the national team of Yugoslavia Savo Milosevic named the best players of the Kazan club in his opinion.
Sergei Semak, now coaching Zenit St. Petersburg, played for Rubin from 2008 to 2010.
– If we talk about the best players of Rubin, then I will name two names. The first, of course, is the Turk Gekdeniz Karadeniz. This is one of the best legionnaires of the RPL and the legend of the Kazan club.
Of the Russian players, the strongest was midfielder Sergei Semak. He is an intelligent player with excellent knowledge and understanding of the game. Semak was a true professional and the leader of that Rubin.
Sergey took only the best from his career, so it’s no wonder why Semak shows such outstanding results with Zenit as a coach. He is one of the best students of Berdyev, Sport24 quotes Milosevic.
