Zenit is the best team in Russia, they have Gazprom as a sponsor, the best players in the league. His position in the standings is absolutely deserved. I believe they have authority among judges, not administrative resources. Referees can whistle specifically in favor of Zenit several times per match, only they have such a privilege in Russia. What can we say – they became champions for five years in a row. Who else deserves to be a champion besides them? No team inside RPL not even close to the level of “blue-white-blue”.
Which teams still have authority? In CSKA, “Spartacus”, perhaps. But obviously not by the same authority as Zenit.
