Pepe suffered a broken arm during the 2022 World Cup quarter-final match against Morocco

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) reported on its website that the defender of the national team, Pepe, broke his arm during the quarter-final match of the World Cup against Morocco.

The Portuguese on Saturday lost to the Moroccans with a score of 0:1 and completed their performances at the World Cup. The 39-year-old played the full match.

Pepe suffered a broken ulna in his left arm while playing against Morocco. After the match, the Portuguese was examined in a Doha hospital, which confirmed the suspicion of a fracture, the FPF said in a statement.
