Russian coach Sergei Yuran believes that in order to organize the World Cup in winter, you must first analyze the tournament taking place in Qatar.

Earlier, the head of the global development department of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Arsene Wenger, said that the World Cup can be held in the winter in African countries.

– To hold the world championships in the winter, first you need to analyze the World Cup in Qatar. Only after that it will be possible to draw conclusions. Another question immediately arises: where to organize them? Permanently in Qatar? Do not forget that in winter, for example, in Europe it is quite cold – it will not be very comfortable to play. When the temperature is below zero, it is not very convenient to go out onto the field. But I just wouldn’t talk about an increase in the number of injuries, ”RT Yuran quotes.
