Moscow “Spartak” did not contact the defender of the Mexican “Monterrey” Cesar Montes about the transfer, according to Metaratings.ru.
Earlier, information appeared in the media that the 25-year-old football player expressed a desire to continue his career in Russia. As noted in the material, Montes is ready to consider an offer from Russia if the salary is 1.4-1.5 million euros per year.
During his career, Montes played only for Monterrey, spent more than 250 matches for the team. The defender played for the national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar: he played three matches, made one assist. The Mexican team finished third in the group and did not qualify for the playoffs.
