Franco Camozzi, a former adviser to the ex-owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun, expressed the opinion that Massimo Carrera could successfully cope with the work of the head coach of Rubin.
Earlier, the media reported that the Italian could lead the Kazan team.
– If Carrera becomes the head coach of the Kazan team, then it will be difficult for him to bring Rubin back to the RPL and return to its former form, but this task is not impossible. If Massimo became the coach of Rubin, he would certainly succeed. Is such an appointment possible or not? I can’t say that,” Camozzi quotes Metaratings.ru.
Rubin is third in the table after 20 rounds of MELBET First League with 37 points.
Carrera worked at Spartak from 2016 to 2018, becoming the champion of Russia and the winner of the Super Cup in 2017.
